For this assignment, we had to get in groups of 3-4 and choose a scene from one of the acts. After choosing this scene, we had to pose and take a picture (which I cannot find at the moment) with our group, that we think represent the scene we chose.

Playlist-A-Life:

MACBETH's Playlist

In My Head - Ariana Grande: this song was chosen to represent Macbeth because the title shows that when Macbeth saw the ghost of Banquo, it was all in his head. The lyrics says that "You’re in love with a version of a person that you've created in your head That you are trying to but cannot fix Uh, the only thing you can fix is yourself" this quote relates to this part in Macbeth because Banquo's ghost who is all in Macbeth's head, is now someone who Macbeth is trying to forget that he is the cause of this situation.

Listen Before I Go - Billie Eilish: this song was chosen to represent Macbeth because it is saying that he does not listen to anyone and just does what he wants. The lyrics says that "these salty tears on my cheeks That's what a year-long headache does to you I'm not okay, I feel so scattered" this quote relates to the part when Macbeth starts killing people, not wanting to listen to others opinions. The lyrics are saying that you do not feel okay and that you do not know what you are doing anymore, relating to Macbeth because he probably has no control over what he is doing anymore.

Caught in the Fire - Bazzi: this song was chosen to represent Macbeth because of how Macbeth is caught in these lies about the killing of Duncan, the guards being the killers and the manipulation of him becoming king. The lyrics says that "Let's have a toast while we sit and we watch The whole world go up in flames (Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha) We lost our minds (Lost it) We goin' cray (Cray)" this quote relates to the part when Macbeth thinks that it is okay to kill Duncan for the crown, all for himself. The lyrics are saying that when you lose your mind you go crazy, which is what Macbeth is experiencing in this part.

My Blood - Ellie Goulding: this song was chosen to represent Macbeth because of Macbeth went crazy when he killed Duncan and was responsible for Banquo's death. The lyrics says that "That feeling, that doesn't go away just did And I walked a thousand miles to prove it And I'm caught in the crossfire of my own thoughts The color of my blood is all I see on the rocks As you sail from me" this quote relates to the part when Macbeth had just killed Duncan, trying to wash the blood from his hands. The lyrics are saying that all you see is blood now as you drift further away from reality, which is what is happening to Macbeth at this part.

Signifying Nothing - What does life mean anyway?

Reflect on how Macbeth approaches the meaning of life and the human experience here on earth before inevitable death. He uses analogies he's familiar with-that of the "player" and "stage". What metaph
